Wander North

Wander North is quiet and unhurried. You guide a lone traveller through snowbound valleys, solving light environmental puzzles and slowly uncovering what happened to the region. There's no combat and no timers, which is exactly the point.

The art carries a lot of the mood, and the sound design does the rest. Puzzles are more about observation than logic gymnastics, so it never got frustrating. Sessions are short by nature, which suits a phone well.

It won't be for everyone — some will find it too slow — but as a calm counterweight to busier games it did its job for me.
